A bright and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and a flavorful butter sauce with lemon zest.

  • 2 cups bowtie pasta
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until frothy.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside while preparing the sauce.
  6. Add lemon juice, zest, and dried parsley to the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  7. Toss in the cooked bowtie pasta and mix well.
  8. Slice the chicken and serve it over the pasta, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For added flavor, consider including spinach or sun-dried tomatoes in the pasta. Adjust cooking times if using different pasta types.
