Irresistible Sweet & Savory Asian Mango Glazed Chicken Twists

Delicious twists filled with tender chicken and a delightful mango glaze, perfect for appetizers or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mango chutney
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mango chutney, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets until they are thin but not overly stretched.
  4. Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and place it at one end of each strip of puff pastry. Carefully twist the pastry tightly around the filling.
  5. Arrange the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the twists with the beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Once baked, remove them from the oven, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping. These twists are also great with a cucumber salad or steamed jasmine rice.
