A delightful casserole combining frozen ravioli, creamy ricotta, tangy marinara, and bubbling cheese for a comforting weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for your delicious creation.
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a large baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the marinara sauce.
  4. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, sauces, and cheese.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

Serve with a light arugula salad and garlic bread. Use quality ingredients for the best flavor.
