A warm and hearty casserole with layers of spaghetti, ground beef, and creamy cheeses, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Once it’s al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat. Once cooked through, drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning together until creamy and well-combined.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti, then half of the meat sauce, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat these layers one more time, finishing off with the remaining meat sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
