Mint Chocolate Seven Layer Bars

A delightful treat combining layers of graham cracker crust, coconut, and chocolate, sure to evoke cozy childhood memories.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mint chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until thoroughly mixed. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan to form the crust.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded coconut evenly over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips and mint chocolate chips over the coconut layer.
  5. If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the chocolate layer.
  6. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for added richness.
