  • 20 Mint Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Crush the Mint Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs are formed.
  2. Combine crushed cookies with softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and blend until there are no white specks left.
  3. Add peppermint extract and blend until mixed evenly.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate truffles for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Melt chopped semi-sweet chocolate until smooth.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off, and place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Sprinkle crushed Oreos or colorful sprinkles over the top while chocolate is still wet.
  9. Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker setting.
