A delicious Miso Glazed Salmon that balances sweet and savory flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil together in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a dish and pour the miso mixture over them, ensuring they’re well coated. Cover and let them marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate for up to 2 hours. Substitute salmon with trout or mackerel if desired.
