A delightful layered dessert featuring fresh mixed berries, fluffy pound cake, and creamy vanilla pudding, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base layer by layering half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom of a trifle dish or individual glasses.
  2. Add a layer of mixed berries onto the cake.
  3. Spoon half of the vanilla pudding over the berries.
  4. Top with a layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, berries, pudding, and whipped cream.
  6. Create a garnish with mint leaves if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Leftover trifle can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days but is best enjoyed fresh.
