A delightful explosion of flavors and textures in a layered dessert featuring mixed berries, whipped cream, cake, and custard.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 package pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup custard or vanilla pudding
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Layer the Pound Cake: In a trifle dish or individual glass bowls, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  2. Add the Mixed Berries: Add half of the mixed berries on top of the cake layer.
  3. Spoon the Custard: Spoon half of the custard or pudding over the berries.
  4. Spread the Whipped Cream: Spread half of the whipped cream over the custard layer.
  5. Repeat the Layers: Repeat all layers with the remaining ingredients—cake, berries, custard, and whipped cream.
  6. Finish and Garnish: Finish with an extra layer of whipped cream and sprinkle fresh mint on top.
  7. Chill: Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use the freshest berries for the best flavor. This dessert can be made a day in advance.
