  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth and stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in the all-purpose flour until just incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool the banana bread in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
