Quick and easy Mongolian Beef Noodles are a delightful mix of tender beef, egg noodles, and flavorful sauces, perfect for busy evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz beef (flank steak or rib eye)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Slice the beef thinly against the grain. This is crucial for tenderness!
  3. In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced green onions to the same pan. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and the cooked noodles to the pan. Stir well to combine everything and let those flavors meld.
  6. Finally, add the beef back to the pan and mix everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot. Enjoy your creation!

Notes

For tender beef, marinate it briefly in soy sauce before slicing. You can add red pepper flakes for heat.
