A comforting dish featuring juicy chicken breasts smothered in a rich Asiago cheese sauce with mushrooms and garlic.

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Asiago cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil until golden brown, then add minced garlic.
  2. Cook the chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper until browned and cooked through.
  3. Create the creamy base by stirring in heavy cream once the chicken is cooked.
  4. Melt the Asiago cheese into the sauce until creamy.
  5. Serve the dish topped with the mushroom and cheese sauce, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream and reduce the cheese.
