A creamy, comforting dish featuring ravioli enveloped in a rich carbonara sauce with bacon and garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 ounces bacon, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions until they’re al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Add the diced bacon to a large skillet and cook over medium heat until crispy. Remove excess fat, leaving 1 tablespoon in the skillet.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the skillet for about a minute until aromatic.
  4. Combine the heavy cream, egg yolks, and grated Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the cream mixture into the skillet with the bacon and garlic, stirring continuously. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss them in the sauce until well-coated.
  7. Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.

Notes

If using leftovers, cool and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of cream or milk to maintain sauce consistency.
