A comforting and hearty meal that combines the richness of taco flavors with the convenience of a one-pot dish, featuring creamy pasta, seasoned meat, and vibrant tomatoes.

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef or turkey with the diced onion over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning to the meat and mix well, coating the meat evenly.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes; stir to combine all the delicious flavors.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, letting the flavors meld together.
  5. Add the pasta to the boiling mixture, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes or until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
