  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish to ensure your bars won’t stick!
  2. Cream together the peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until everything is perfectly combined.
  4. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then add gradually to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. They freeze well for up to 3 months.
