A vibrant sauce bursting with flavor, perfect for pasta, sandwiches, or as a dip.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your fresh ingredients. In a food processor, combine the fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic.
  2. Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped. Make sure to scrape down the sides a few times.
  3. Emulsify with olive oil while the processor is running until fully combined.
  4. Season with salt to taste and adjust as needed.
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes
