Delightful cookie bars featuring toasted pistachios and rich chocolate, wrapped in buttery perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed pistachios
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the crushed pistachios and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Spread and press the dough into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown.
  8. Cool the bars before cutting them into squares.
  9. Dust the tops with powdered sugar before serving.
