A delicious twist on classic comfort food, this Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich combines gooey cheese, tangy pizza sauce, and your favorite toppings for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Pepperoni (optional)
  • Butter
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add a spoonful of pizza sauce on top, followed by the cheese slices, and pepperoni if desired.
  5. Seal the sandwich with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Pair with crunchy pickles, salad, or marinara for dipping. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
