  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 to 3 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine liquids: Stir in milk, melted butter, and salt.
  3. Mix ingredients: Gradually add flour, mixing until the dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough: Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let it rise: Let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes covered with a cloth.
  6. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Shape the buns: Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a bun.
  8. Prepare for baking: Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Second rise: Let them rise for another 15 minutes.
  10. Bake to perfection: Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool down: Let cool before using.
