A refreshing, vibrant cocktail that captures the essence of summer with its sweet blue curaçao, fresh lemon juice, and a fizzy touch.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka (preferably Tito’s)
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 23 oz soda water (club soda or sparkling water)
  • Ice
  • Lemon wheel or pineapple slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill Your Glass: Place a highball glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill.
  2. Squeeze Fresh Lemon Juice: Squeeze about 1 oz of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Combine the Ingredients in the Shaker: In a shaker filled halfway with ice, combine 2 oz vodka, 1 oz blue curaçao, 1 oz lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup.
  4. Shake It Up: Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until cold.
  5. Prep Your Glass with Ice: Remove your glass from the freezer and fill it with fresh ice cubes.
  6. Strain the Mixture: Carefully strain the shaken mixture over the ice in your glass.
  7. Top with Soda Water: Gently top the cocktail with 2-3 oz of soda water.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a lemon wheel or a slice of pineapple.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh due to carbonation. Experiment with flavored vodkas or make a non-alcoholic version.
