Grapefruit Aperol Spritz

A refreshing cocktail featuring grapefruit juice and prosecco, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) fresh grapefruit juice
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) Aperol
  • 3 ounces (90 ml) prosecco
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) soda water
  • Ice cubes (4-5 large)
  • Grapefruit slices for garnish
  • Optional: sprig of fresh rosemary or mint

Instructions

  1. Chill your wine or balloon glass in the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the grapefruit in half and juice to extract about 2 ounces (60 ml) of juice, straining if desired.
  3. In a mixing glass or shaker, combine grapefruit juice and Aperol. Stir or shake gently.
  4. Fill the chilled glass with 4-5 large ice cubes.
  5. Strain the mixture over the ice in your glass.
  6. Slowly add prosecco and soda water to the glass.
  7. Garnish with a slice of grapefruit or muddle a slice with a sprig of rosemary.
  8. Gently stir to combine without losing bubbles.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Use freshly squeezed grapefruit juice for best flavor. Adjust flavors to your taste and experiment with garnishes.
