A delightful and refreshing Peach Lemonade capturing the essence of summer with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.

Ingredients

  • 68 large ripe peaches (about 3 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for peach puree)
  • 1/2 cup water (for peach puree)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (for peach puree)
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 810 medium lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for simple syrup)
  • 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
  • 46 cups cold water (for dilution)
  • Fresh peach slices (for garnish)
  • Fresh lemon wheels or wedges (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare peaches by washing, halving, and removing pits. Chop into smaller pieces. Place in a saucepan with sugar and water, simmering until softened.
  2. Make the peach puree by blending cooled peach mixture with lemon juice and straining.
  3. Prepare simple syrup by dissolving sugar in water over medium heat, then allowing to cool.
  4. Combine lemon juice, peach puree, and simple syrup in a pitcher.
  5. Add cold water to desired taste and stir well.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes before serving over ice, garnished with peach slices, lemon wheels, and mint.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and tartness by varying sugar and water amounts. Can also add berries or pineapple juice for flavor variations.
