  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 12 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
  6. Fold in the oats and Rice Krispies gently.
  7. Add your choice of chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. These cookies can be frozen for up to three months.
