Crispy roasted Brussels sprouts tossed with olive oil and seasonings, finished with optional garlic and Parmesan for extra flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy on the outside and tender inside.
  6. Add minced garlic during the last 5 minutes of roasting for added flavor (optional).
  7. Serve warm, optionally topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat to retain crispiness.
