A simple and flavorful roasted cauliflower recipe that transforms this often-overlooked vegetable into a star side dish.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the head of cauliflower into evenly-sized florets.
  3. Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Spread the coated cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes while stirring halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the florets in olive oil and spices for 30 minutes before roasting. Experiment with different seasonings for a twist.
