Deliciously crispy chicken bites seasoned with salt and pepper, perfect for any gathering or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  2. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
  3. Heat enough oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the hot oil and fry in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
