A delightful blend of flavors with layers of coconut, chocolate, and a touch of sea salt that elevates the sweetness.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your 9×13 baking pan by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Add the unsalted butter and brown sugar to a large mixing bowl and stir together until frothy.
  3. Mix in all-purpose flour until a thick dough forms.
  4. Evenly press the dough into your prepared pan.
  5. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove the crust and sprinkle coconut and chocolate chips evenly over it.
  7. Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the toppings.
  8. Return the pan to the oven for another 15-20 minutes.
  9. Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares or bars.

Notes

For an extra flavor, consider adding nuts or using dark chocolate chips.
