A delightful blend of Chex cereal coated in rich chocolate, caramel, and toasted coconut, inspired by the iconic Girl Scout cookie.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup toasted coconut
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Cereal Base: In a large bowl, add the Chex cereal. Set aside, and get ready for the transformation!
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. Coat the Cereal: Drizzle the melted chocolate over the Chex cereal and mix gently until all the cereal is coated.
  4. Add Caramel Goodness: Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate-coated cereal and toss to combine.
  5. Combine the Toasted Coconut Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine the toasted coconut and powdered sugar.
  6. Combine It All Together: Pour the coated cereal into the coconut and powdered sugar mixture. Toss until well coated.
  7. Cool and Enjoy!: Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet to cool. Once it’s set, dig in and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For a refreshing treat, chill in the fridge.
