Delicious sausage stuffed sweet mini peppers, perfect for appetizers or cozy nights. A crowd-pleaser filled with zesty Italian sausage and creamy cheeses.

  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 sweet mini peppers, halved and seeds removed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain any excess fat from the skillet and let the sausage cool slightly.
  4. Combine the cooked sausage with cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well blended.
  5. Stuff each mini pepper half with the sausage mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.
  6. Arrange the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the filling is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
