A comforting dish of ground beef and mixed vegetables topped with creamy mashed potatoes, perfect for chilly evenings.

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure a perfectly baked topping.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in mixed vegetables, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Top the beef mixture with mashed potatoes, creating an even layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
