These delightful cheeseburger sliders combine the sweetness of Hawaiian rolls with flavorful seasoned ground beef and gooey cheese, perfect for gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 oz) pkg sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar or American cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix the lean ground beef, seasoned bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Form the mixture into a large patty in a greased 9-by-13-inch pan.
  4. Poke holes all over the meat with a fork.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Add an even layer of cheese on top of the meat.
  7. Return to the oven for about 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few moments.
  9. Cut the patty into 2-inch squares to create mini-hamburgers.

Notes

These sliders are easy to customize with different toppings and can be made with turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
