A quick and flavorful salsa made with canned tomatoes, perfect for dipping or as a topping for dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 jalapeños, seeds removed and finely chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the canned diced tomatoes, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped jalapeños, lime juice, and chopped cilantro in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Season with salt to taste, starting with a little and adding until it’s just right.
  4. Let the salsa sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, or your favorite dish.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
