A warm and hearty dish that combines rotisserie chicken with creamy, cheesy goodness and tender rice, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Fold in the frozen peas, if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until bubbling and golden.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a dollop of sour cream to the mixture. Use pre-cooked rice to save time.
