A delightful twist on the classic Sloppy Joe, these sliders combine ground beef with a sweet and tangy sauce, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté the vegetables. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, then sauté until softened.
  3. Mix in the sauces and seasonings. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until everything is heated through.
  4. Toast the slider buns. Toast the slider buns lightly to add crunch and texture.
  5. Assemble the sliders. Assemble the sliders by spooning the Sloppy Joe mixture onto the bottom half of the buns. Add pickles if desired, then place the top half of the buns on.

Notes

Store any leftover Sloppy Joe mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. The mixture can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
