A delightful fusion of classic smashburgers and crispy quesadillas, filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder (to season)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • Optional: pickles, diced onions, burger sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare your skillet: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Press and season the beef: Press a small handful of ground beef onto one half of each tortilla and season.
  3. Sear the beef: Place tortillas with beef side down onto the hot skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Melt the cheese: Flip tortillas, sprinkle cheese on top of beef, and fold in half.
  5. Grill to perfection: Grill both sides until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Slice and serve: Remove from skillet, cool slightly, then slice into wedges and serve with toppings.
