  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the cream cheese and softened butter together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing well until fluffy.
  4. Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Mix the dry mixture into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  7. Add the fresh blueberries and gently fold them into the dough.
  8. Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
