  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Combine the sourdough discard, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the egg, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
