  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine melted butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until you have a thick batter.
  4. Slice the ripe bananas into thin rounds.
  5. Layer the sliced bananas in a greased baking dish and pour the batter over them.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of ice cream.
