Delicious garlic bread bowls filled with cheesy spaghetti for a fun and flavorful twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Spaghetti
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 4 rolls Crusty bread rolls (ciabatta or baguette)
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (Mozzarella or your choice)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add your spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Once cooked, drain it and set it aside, saving a little pasta water for later.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, sautéing it until fragrant and golden, about a minute or two. Be careful not to burn it! Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, mixing it well with the garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the mixture seems a bit dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water. Stir in the shredded cheese until it’s melted and beautifully creamy.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While it heats, take your crusty rolls and gently hollow out the insides, creating little bowls. Don’t throw away the bread you remove; it’s perfect for dipping later! Fill each bread bowl with the cheesy spaghetti mixture, packing it in generously.
  4. Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet and pop them into the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is bubbling. Once they’re done, let them cool for a minute. Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving to add a pop of color and flavor.

Notes

For optimal flavor, pair with a light side salad and a light red wine like Pinot Noir. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
