A simple and delicious recipe for steak and potato foil packets, perfect for grilling on warm summer evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cut a large piece of aluminum foil and place the steak in the center.
  4. Add the potato mixture on top of the steak.
  5. Fold the foil tightly to create a sealed packet.
  6. Place the foil packet on the grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes.
  7. Carefully unwrap the packet, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve.

Notes
