A delightful blend of tangy strawberries, salty pretzels, and creamy layers, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (e.g. Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool completely.
  5. Beat together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until combined.
  7. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
  8. Fold in the sliced strawberries.
  9. Pour the strawberry mixture over the creamy layer.
  10. Refrigerate until set, about 2-4 hours, then slice and serve.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for better flavor and consider chilling the crust overnight for easier assembly.
