A delightful dessert combining salty pretzels, creamy cheesecake, and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, creating an even layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely.
  2. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until everything is harmonious. Spread this luscious mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water. Stir in the sliced strawberries and let the mixture cool slightly. Once it’s cooled, carefully pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer. Place the entire dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours to set.

Notes

Allow the crust to cool completely before adding the cream cheese layer. For best texture, ensure the whipped topping is fully thawed.
