Delicious Stromboli filled with cheese and savory meats, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving an inch border.
  4. Layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and mushrooms on top.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the toppings.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edges.
  7. Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  8. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  9. Cut slits in the top for steam to escape.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serve.

Notes

Serve with additional marinara sauce for dipping. Can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
