Delicious mini donut bites coated in cinnamon-sugar, ideal for sharing or enjoying alone.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini donut pan.
  2. Combine the flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Fill the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Prepare the coating by mixing together the coating sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  8. Roll each donut in the cinnamon-sugar mixture once cool enough to handle.
  9. Serve warm with coffee or hot chocolate.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
