A vibrant taco salad combining seasoned ground beef, fresh vegetables, and crispy tortilla chips for a deliciously crunchy meal.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 head of lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Tortilla chips
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain the excess fat.
  2. Add the taco seasoning to the beef and follow package instructions.
  3. Prepare the salad base by combining the chopped lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, black beans, and diced avocado in a large bowl.
  4. Layer the fully cooked and seasoned beef on top of the salad base.
  5. Crush tortilla chips and sprinkle over the salad for added crunch.
  6. Top the salad with dollops of sour cream and generous spoonfuls of salsa.
  7. Serve immediately while the tortilla chips are still crunchy.
