A vibrant Asian-inspired dish combining tender pork tenderloin with a flavorful marinade of soy sauce, hoisin, honey, and Sriracha.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and Sriracha in a bowl to create the marinade.
  3. Marinate the pork in a resealable bag or shallow dish, ensuring it is fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Prepare the pork by letting it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes after marinating, while reserving the marinade.
  5. Sear the pork in a hot oven-safe skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until brown.
  6. Add the reserved marinade over the seared pork and transfer to the oven. Roast for about 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), basting halfway through.
  7. Rest the meat for 5-10 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  8. Slice the pork into medallions, serve on a platter, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate overnight. Can be paired with rice, vegetables, or salad for a complete meal.
