Delicious tender ribs baked slowly with a perfect dry rub and BBQ sauce, making them fall-off-the-bone good.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) to create the perfect environment for the ribs to cook slowly.
  2. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs to ensure maximum rub penetration and tenderness.
  3. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a flavorful dry rub.
  4. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring every inch is coated with that glorious mix.
  5. Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, cover them with another piece of foil to keep the moisture in while they bake.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until the ribs are tender and the meat is easily pulled apart with a fork.
  7. Remove the top foil and brush BBQ sauce generously on the ribs, allowing that sweet flavor to seep into the meat.
  8. Broil for 5-10 minutes until the sauce is sticky and caramelized, giving the ribs that irresistible glaze.
  9. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving, allowing the juices to redistribute for a juicy bite.

Notes

Don’t skip removing the silver skin—it’s crucial for tenderness! Feel free to adjust the cayenne to your spice preference.
