Delicious and versatile sauces to elevate your udon noodles, ranging from savory to spicy and creamy.

Ingredients

  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Miso paste
  • Peanut butter
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Chili flakes
  • Green onions

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sugar in a bowl until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, chili flakes, and water in another bowl.
  3. Whisk the miso paste with water until smooth.
  4. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, a splash of water, and grated ginger.
  5. Adjust the sauces to your taste, then pour over cooked udon noodles and toss well.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed vegetables or proteins to the udon noodles. Fresh ingredients yield better taste.
