  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, coleslaw mix, cream cheese, hot sauce, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Prepare the wrappers: Take an egg roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  3. Roll it up: Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly.
  4. Heat the oil: In a deep pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  5. Fry until golden: Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Drain and serve hot: Once perfectly golden, drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

For an extra crunch, double fry the egg rolls. If baking, brush with oil and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
