Crispy, golden-brown egg rolls filled with a delicious spicy mixture of chicken, cream cheese, and jalapeños.

Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken or pork
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 jalapeños, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the filling ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Take an egg roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom part of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes each side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
